At Auto Shanghai 2025, DeepRoute.ai, a frontrunner in end-to-end autonomous driving solutions, unveiled a strategic partnership with Volcano Engine, a leading provider of cloud and AI services, aimed at accelerating the development of AI-powered vehicles.

The partnership aims to fast-track the evolution of AI-powered vehicles by combining advanced large language models, intelligent driving systems, and robust cloud computing infrastructure.

Under the agreement, Volcano Engine will provide high-performance computing support to enhance the training efficiency of DeepRoute.ai’s Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model.

Maxwell Zhou, CEO of DeepRoute.ai said, "Computing power, data, and algorithms are the three engines behind VLA's evolution.”

He added, "With enhanced compute from Volcano Engine and our closed-loop data system, we are accelerating iteration. Algorithm innovation remains our core strength."

Versatile Smart Driving Model Set for 2025 Launch

DeepRoute.ai’s VLA model is engineered for flexible deployment, supporting both camera-only setups and LiDAR-camera fusion systems. It is designed to be compatible across a wide range of automotive computing platforms.

Multiple AI vehicle models featuring the VLA system are scheduled for launch in 2025, signaling significant progress toward smarter, more autonomous driving solutions.

Enhancing Transparency and Trust in Smart Driving

The VLA model stands out for its ability to understand driving contexts over extended timeframes, up to several dozen seconds—and provides detailed, step-by-step explanations for its decisions. This transparency enhances the system’s performance and builds greater trust among users, marking a key step toward broader acceptance of autonomous technologies.

At Auto Shanghai 2025, DeepRoute.ai is presenting its newest innovations, such as the VLA model and its RoadAGI strategy, at booth 8BD012. CEO Maxwell Zhou is also joining a panel discussion to outline the company’s vision for the future of AI-powered transportation.
