Data-Driven Navigation
Founded in 2018 by Yarden Gross and Dor Raviv, Orca AI combines computer vision and artificial intelligence to improve maritime situational awareness. The company claims to have developed the world’s largest marine visual dataset, drawn from more than 80 million nautical miles.
This data powers its technology, which assists ship crews by detecting risks and targets that may not be visible to the human eye.
Reducing Risk and Improving Operational Focus
Orca AI's system delivers real-time alerts and navigational recommendations, allowing crew members to prioritize critical decision-making and reduce the likelihood of collisions. The company says its mission is to modernize the traditionally conservative shipping industry with data-driven safety solutions.
