PainReform Launches Pilot Program with Econergy to Optimize Solar Energy Operations

PainReform Ltd. has announced the commencement of a strategic pilot program with Econergy Renewable Energy Ltd., a leading European independent power producer (IPP), to drive operational efficiency at large-scale solar plants utilizing its own AI-powered platform, DeepSolar. The pilot will occur at Econergy's 92-megawatt photovoltaic farm in Parau, Romania, one of the largest operational solar projects in the country.
A New Era for Solar Optimization
This partnership is the first step in a larger partnership that will show the real value of the DeepSolar platform for large-scale renewable energy assets.
The platform is used to monitor real-time and historical data coming from the solar facility, recognizing inefficiencies, giving actionable information, and ultimately enhancing energy yield as well as reducing operational expenses.
Dr. Ehud Geller, CEO of PainReform, said, “We’re proud to partner with Econergy, a company that shares our vision for innovation and sustainability.”
He added, “This pilot marks a key milestone in applying our DeepSolar™ platform to real-world utility-scale environments and reflects our commitment to using advanced technologies to create measurable improvements in clean energy operations.”
Expanding Clean Energy Optimization Across Europe
Following the successful completion of the pilot, both companies expect to scale DeepSolar across Econergy’s portfolio, potentially applying the software to additional solar plants.
With a total deployment potential of 1 gigawatt in the long run, this project can potentially unlock significant performance and energy efficiency gains throughout Econergy's fleet.
Israel-headquartered Econergy specializes in developing, building, and operating renewable energy systems, such as solar, wind, and energy storage. With nearly 1 gigawatt of photovoltaic capacity in operation or under construction, Econergy is a dominant player in the provision of scalable and sustainable energy solutions throughout Europe.

Looking Ahead: Growth and Expansion
The Parau plant was selected for the pilot due to its strategic importance and size, making it an ideal location for testing the DeepSolar™ platform. The initiative will allow PainReform to analyze large datasets to uncover underperformance, recommend optimization strategies, and drive increased energy production.
If successful, the pilot program will serve as a stepping stone for expanding DeepSolar across Econergy’s European projects, and PainReform aims to extend the platform’s reach into broader European and US photovoltaic markets.
